Rope Drum: The rope drum is of sturdy construction made of M.S. Seamless pipe and machined cut spiral grooves mounted on self-align ball bearings ensure smooth running. The ratio of drum dia. to wire rope dia. is such that it reduces the wear & fatigue. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearings, ensures smooth running for a long period.

Wire Rope: Tested quality, 6 X 37 construction special plow hemp core flexible steel wire rope, having a safety factor of 6 for class II and 7 for class III duty is provided on the hoist.

Rope Guide: A rope guide completely encircling the drum is to hold the rope in its groove at all the times and can not uncoil even-when the rope is fully unloaded. The rope guide is provided for perfect winding for rope in the drum groove.

Motor: Electric wire rope hoists are supplied with foot/flange mounted crane duty induction motor designed & manufactured to IS:325 of reputed make with high starting torque.

Brake: Electromagnetic Disc / Shoe type “ fail-safe ” (i.e. brake acts immediately in case of any power failure) is used. It is mounted externally on the rear end of the motor for ease of maintenance.

Gears: Alloy steel hob cut teeth helical / spur hardened gears with solid pinions running on ball/roller bearings with oil bath lubrication.

Controls: A dust & vermin proof control panel incorporates heavy duty Contactors, control transformers, relays, HRC fuses with proper ferruling & spacious for ease of maintenance.

Bottom Block: Bottom block assembly consisting of drop forged steel hook, mounted on thrust ball bearings, with large dia. sheave and hook plates made out of steel.

Limit Switch: To avoid over hoisting or over lowering of wire rope, limit switches are provided with each hoist.

The frame has been fabricated with the help of steel plates and is of welded/bolted type
The rope drum is fabricated with the help of sturdy seamless pipe or is developed from steel plates. Further, it has been grooved in a manner so as to take the full lift without over winding. Large drum diameter to rope diameter ratio is capable of minimizing the overall wear and cable fatigue. The process goes on and the drum shaft revolves in ball bearings; and assures smooth running
These also include a rope guide, which is very important to prevent over lapping of the rope on the drum and to extend rope life
6 x 37 construction special plough hemp core flexible steel wire rope confirming is 2266 having factor of safety 6 for class ii and 7 for class iii duty application. Galvanized and steel core wire rope has been offered for special application
We are also offering ball bearing, with large diameter sheave and hook plates which have been fabricated with the help of steel
The hoist duty electric motors consists of an enclosed squirrel cage induction type; which is in perfect accordance with is 325. Further, it also has a high starting torque, which is highly suitable for frequent starts / stops. The motors are completely flange / foot mounted, wound in b / f class insulation of reputed make and is completely suitable for 415 v, 3 phase, 50 Hz a. C. Power supply
The gear box includes remarkable quality alloy steel and hobbed teeth helical / spur gears with solid pinions running on ball / roller bearing with oil bath lubrication
A fail safe ac disc / shoe type electromagnetic brake is being provided, which is needed to hold the load at any position and is mounted externally on the rear end of the hoisting motor for simple accessibility
Fully adjustable self resetting limit switches are also being offered for top and bottom limits of the hook travel
