General Specifications are as below:

Frame: Hoists are very compact with elegant appearance. Hoist motor, brake, electrical control gears & trolley drive Units are easily accessible. Each unit can be separately assembled and can be easily dismantled.

Rope Drum: The rope drum is of sturdy construction made of M.S. Seamless pipe and machined cut spiral grooves mounted on self-align ball bearings ensure smooth running. The ratio of drum dia. to wire rope dia. is such that it reduces the wear & fatigue. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearings, ensures smooth running for a long period.

Wire Rope: Tested quality, 6 X 37 construction special plow hemp core flexible steel wire rope, having a safety factor of 6 for class II and 7 for class III duty is provided on the hoist.

Rope Guide: A rope guide completely encircling the drum is to hold the rope in its groove at all the times and can not uncoil even-when the rope is fully unloaded. The rope guide is provided for perfect winding for rope in the drum groove.

Motor: Electric wire rope hoists are supplied with foot/flange mounted crane duty induction motor designed & manufactured to IS:325 of reputed make with high starting torque.

Brake: Electromagnetic Disc / Shoe type “ fail-safe ” (i.e. brake acts immediately in case of any power failure) is used. It is mounted externally on the rear end of the motor for ease of maintenance.

Gears: Alloy steel hob cut teeth helical / spur hardened gears with solid pinions running on ball/roller bearings with oil bath lubrication.

Controls: A dust & vermin proof control panel incorporates heavy duty Contactors, control transformers, relays, HRC fuses with proper ferruling & spacious for ease of maintenance.

Bottom Block: Bottom block assembly consisting of drop forged steel hook, mounted on thrust ball bearings, with large dia. sheave and hook plates made out of steel.

Limit Switch: To avoid over hoisting or over lowering of wire rope, limit switches are provided with each hoist.
